and thanks for checking out my website! My name is Nicole and I am a freelance illustrator and designer living in Germany.

My work as an illustrator and printmaker can best be described as organic and natural. Heavily inspired by nature, I am always trying to capture its beauty and peaceful feeling in my work. Lush florals, fragile weeds, graceful creatures and ornaments come together in my compositions.

My style is raw and organic and all of my work is created by hand. I love the realness that analogue techniques create. There is something special about wet lines of ink on paper, the unplanned beauty of watercolors or a hand-carved design slowly emerging from the block of linoleum.

All my fine art prints are created with either fountain pen and ink or watercolor, digitized and then printed on beautiful papers. My limited-edition linocut art prints are all designed, carved and then hand pressed on my old press, here in my studio. The letterpress prints I offer, are also hand illustrated, digitized and hand printed on my press.

As designer and illustrator I also work for clients, helping them create band identities and packaging. My designs are often highly illustrative, inspired by my love for nature and vintage lettering.

I graduated from FHBielefeld and have a Diploma in communications. and graphic design.
